Remembering Cindy...

CINDY - YELLOW OUTFIT-002.JPG

Cindy Harrison was a renowned motivational and conference speaker specializing in teaching on family and marriage issues. She shared the stage with noted speakers such as Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, Brian Tracey, Dexter Yeager, John Bevere, Myles Munroe and dignitaries such as President Gerald Ford. Her speaking and singing talents took her across the globe. She also hosted her own television interview show on Trinity Broadcasting (TBN) and appeared as a guest on numerous media programs.

In 1982 she and her husband Bob organized a seminar in Hawaii with teachers and a format that was especially designed for leaders. The response was so great that they did another one the next year. Nearly forty-years later these Hawaii Increase Events continue to annually attract hundreds of leaders and achievers from around the world (www.IncreaseEvents).

Cindy born on May 26, 1943 in Mystic, Connecticut and died unexpectedly at the age of 56 on May 11, 2000 in Tulsa from complications from her treatment for cancer. She was survived by her husband, Bob Harrison; five children and ten grandchildren.

She left a deep spiritual heritage and legacy in the lives of her husband, children, grandchildren and the thousands of people who she directly touched around the world through her presence and teaching.

Cindy Harrison was truly a woman who lived the virtues described in Proverbs 31. She lived to give selflessly, dedicating her life to the service of others. She truly enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest with her effervescence and bright, positive outlook in any given situation. She encouraged all who had the pleasure to have known her, constantly looking on the bright side, and always looking for the good in any person or situation.
